If I have to be honest, this past weekend felt like Christmas to me. Why? Well that’s because “Solo: A Star Wars Story” came out for digital download. And let me just say I was hyped!!!

'Solo: A Star Wars Story' is currently on digital download (Google Images).

I will explain my top three favorite deleted scenes and why they’re important.

Imperial Cadet Deleted Scene

This scene in “Solo” is my top favorite and I really think they should have kept it. Why? Well the movie progresses after Han and Qira get seperated and the only option Han has at the time is to join the imprial navy. I thought this was interesting because how we see Han Solo as a general in the orignal trilogy and how he would go on to in his youth join the imperials I think it’s interesting.

Not only that but Han always said he wanted to fly and be the best pilot in the galaxy. Not only do we see in the deleted scene Han fly a damaged TIE Fighter, but we see the consequences of those actions in front of the Navy Council. I think this scene added

dimension to the film and should have been kept.

Snowball Fight!

Okay let me just say this I don’t know why the directors and the producers decided to cut this scene because it is CUTE!

In the movie at this point in time, Han and Chewbacca just met and we get to see them engage in a snowball fight right before they start their mission to obtain Qualixium.

This scene is heartfelt and shows the dynamic between Han and Chewie. They take a serious moment and turn it into something that audiences already know and can connect to.

Corellian Foot Chase

This scene was not one of my favorites, however, I do think that there should have been more Qira and Han scenes.

This scene shows the goof that Han Solo is and the relationship that he has with Qira in a moment of crisis. To see these characters react in a unpredictable circumstance, I think that it is memorable and enjoyable.
